Workforce Development Classes (WDC)

The Workforce Development Classes (WDC) are designed to give our members additional training in areas that may be useful to their careers, but may or may not necessarily RCH eligible.
Payroll professionals have a lot to keep track of – timesheets to locate, constant compliance updates to track, payrolls to process...the fun never stops! But the number one most important resource in any successful Payroll department is YOU. Who else is keeping up with all the moving pieces, making sure everyone is paid accurately and on time? WMAC wants to help YOU be the best Payroll Professional you can be, and that includes developing your own professional development. Join us for this rousing one-day event designed to help you achieve your goals and learn from notable industry experts. We will focus on building your application of management practices and team building into your daily life. Remember, you don’t have to be a manager in order to be a leader!

Speaker:
Khristie Andrus - Justin Bradley
Khristie is a co-founder at JustinBradley and leads our Temporary Staffing Solutions division. She established our financial search practices in law, hospitality, real estate, and construction and continues to work on executive placements for her clients.
Khristie advocates strongly for ethics and professionalism in the staffing industry and served as President of the Capital Area Staffing Association until 2015. In the accounting and finance community, she has been on the selection committee for several prestigious CFO awards, including Washington Business Journal’s CFO of the Year. Khristie is committed to fundraising efforts for DC area charitable organizations, including American Heart Association’s Lawyers Have Heart, and she is a contributing member of the American Payroll Association.
Khristie began her career working for an economic public policy group on Capitol Hill. After two years, she joined Don Richard Associates, eventually moving to Acsys Inc. to serve in leadership roles in recruiting, sales, and operations. Khristie grew up in the Annapolis, Maryland area. She is a member of the US Tennis Association and is a struggling golfer. An enthusiastic mom of two boys, she can be found running around Arlington for travel and high school sports.
