2020 Virtual Congress Contest

WMAC wants to send YOU to Virtual Congress 2020! We are giving away registration to 20 lucky members….and ONE lucky member will win the grand prize - Virtual Congress AND a 1-year APA membership! 

Collecting entries is EASY! Participate in a range of WMAC activities to earn entries: 

  • Attend a chapter meeting – 20 entries
  • Attend a WMAC webinar – 10 entries
  • Bring a new member to a chapter meeting or webinar* – 50 entries
  • Social media post** – 5 entries

 

Surprise opportunities to earn additional bonus entries will pop up throughout the contest period, so keep an eye on your email and our social media accounts. You never know when a bonus entry will be announced!

The contest period runs September 1, 2019 through February 28, 2020.  Winners will be contacted via e-mail on Monday, March 2, 2020.

This contest is open to all active members of the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter of the American Payroll Association (WMAC), excluding Board members and Committee chairs.  

              *New member must attend a chapter meeting or WMAC webinar with the existing member in order to earn the entries. A new member is anyone signing up for a new WMAC membership who was not an active member for 90-days prior to enrollment.

**Up to a maximum of 4 individual social media posts can be posted to any combination of the WMAC social media profiles per calendar month. Examples of posts include:

o   Share a compliance update

o   Ask a payroll question

o   Answer a payroll question!!

o   Share a picture from a WMAC event

This is meant to be up to 4 different posts – posting the same item on multiple social media platforms is great, but will only count as one post!
